Do I have to be a member to attend events in your club?
-
No, you can just take part in our activity. If you like it, you can become a member later.
I advise you to subscribe to the skazka-info mailing list
right now. That's the best way to know what's happening.
Though membership is a formality, it is an important one: external funding and
the very existence of the society depends on the number of members it has.
-
Who can be a member?
-
According to the club rules (available in
Norwegian or Russian),
"All Russian-speaking people living in Trondheim or nearby communes,
their family members and also people from the same area studying the Russian language
or interested in Russian history and culture can be club members."
Hopefully we chose a definition that is broad enough.
-
Does a member have to do something?
-
It would be good if you attend our general meetings (held once a year).
The annual membership fee is 80 kroner.
Participation in other events and activities is entirely up to you.
-
That's good. How to become a member?
- Please email your contact information to
makarov@vad1.com
or tell it to somebody from the board in order to be included
into the list of members. We'd like to collect some information about you and would be grateful if you tell us:
- Your first and family name in English spelling (necessary) and in Russian
spelling (if it is a Russian name or it has a Russian version)
- Your email. We will subscribe it onto
skazka-info mailing list if it's not there yet
- Your mail address
- Your phone. If you give us several phone numbers,
tell which is work phone and which is home phone
- The place you came from, if applicable (e.g., St. Petersburg, Moscow, Belorussia,
Norway, etc.)
- Let us know if you do not want to have some of the above information
published in the open list of members on this site
(so far, very few people asked us to hide their contact info)
- If you maintain a permanent personal Web page, send us its URL, too.
- Transfer 80 kroner to the club bank account,
or pay in person to any board member.
Membership fee for children under 16 is 10 kroner.
